Language Assistance

Our Mission

To ensure families have meaningful access to all aspects, programs, opportunities and services pertaining to their children’s education by providing a multitude of language services via internal and external resources to safeguard communications.

Providing interpretation services virtually

Our call center is able to assist with immediate emergency interpretation over the phone from the hours of 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. We are able to assist with reaching out to parents who are bilingual and in need of language support.

Free language assistance is available to CCS parents regarding school programs and activities. A parent does not have to be of limited English proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English in order to be considered of limited English proficiency (LEP) but rather, it is only necessary that a parent be limited in at least one of these areas in order to be eligible to receive language assistance as needed. No other verification is necessary in order to receive language assistance.

Interpreter Availability Notice

Due to a high volume of requests between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., all interpreters will be available virtually during these hours.

Please plan accordingly and ensure access to the necessary technology for virtual interpretation services.
